Here in the desert southwest, we have beautiful Acacia trees belonging to the Mimosoideae family that bloom a beautiful yellow in the spring. These blooms are also called Mimosen, or Mimosa blossoms. These delicate yellow blossoms on stem are rendered in fine knot work in numerous shades of yellow from pale butter to light gold, with their fern-like foliage in shades of green which twist and turn giving a sense of movement. These sprigs of blooms are presented on fine white linen with a large hemstitch boarder.
Napkins/set of 6: A single spray of mimosa on stem with blossoms and foliage, corner set. Napkins are 19.5 inches square with a 1.5 inch large hemstitch border.
Placemats/set of 6: A larger spray of mimosa on stem with blossoms and foliage extending from center of the shorter side to the corner and then turning onto the longer side. Placemats are 20 x 15 inches.
I believe in linen. It has an elegance and drape that no other fiber can match, and with a minimum of care, fine linen will last and be enjoyed for generations. These 100% linen napkins, mats, runners and cloths carry the Masters of Linen tag, which guarantees that they are made with the finest quality linen produced in the European Union in harmony with environmental policies. With each washing, the fabric will become even more soft and supple.
